The 25th Anniversary of the gifting of Schooner Ernestina by Cape Verde to the U.S. is commemorated in an original design of the journey on the back of the shirt.

The front of the shirt depicts the schooner's distinctive logo.

Captain Jose Lopes vowed when he left Cape Verde that he would return in his own vessel.  Throughout his successful career as a merchant mariner, he fed his dream and built his Senhora do Monte. This educational documentary is inspirational, filled with cultural insight and technical expertise, amplified with the Captain's virtuosity on guitar and violin.
