These photos were taken at St. James/Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in New Bedford, MA, on Sunday, March 11, 2007.
The immigrants, volunteers, agency workers, and politicians were there to help the struggle of the jailed undocumented
workers rounded up in the raid at Michael Bianco, Inc. on March 6, 2007.
The priest and minister were chosen Men of the Year in 2008 by The Standard-Times. Their untiring devotion, along
with that of a cadre of volunteers, kept hope afloat.
