DCR, collaborating with our AHOY! program, manages the Schooner Ernestina
Our Expo on June 12th in partnership with AHA! drew
over 100 people to participate in Humans Bloomin' Kinetic Art--a Green Culture Event--by
creating the Human Living Flower, an environmental art form based on the ancient art of the Geomorph.
Our AHOY! student display drew admiring responses from those who viewed the interpretations
of art, history, and ocean through artwork. Visitors enjoyed the board games created by the AHOY! students and "Zap",
the jellyfish game, was a hit!
Thank You, New Bedford Cultural Council, for empowering us to do more outreach and education for art. history. oceans.
